The 2013 (international) Web Archiving Meeting, hosted by the Internet Archive’s Archive-It service and The University of Innsbruck (German Department / Innsbruck Newspaper Archive), will be an opportunity for professionals engaged in or curious about web archiving to connect with one another, share best practices, and learn more about web archiving. In addition, Archive-It partners will have the opportunity to discuss and help plan for the Archive-It 5.0 release and the Archive-It team will provide partner support for partners who have questions about the web application.
Who: Archive-It Partners, institutions and organizations interested or experienced in web archiving, service providers, end users.
What: A day of networking, presentations, hands on training, and discussion related to collecting and curating focused collections of archived content from the web.

Why: This is the first time a Archive-It Meeting has been hosted outside of the United States, and we are excited to collaborate with our partners at the University of Innsbruck and invite interested individuals and organizations in and outside of the Archive-It community to join us. This will be an excellent opportunity for end users and curators to discuss their web archiving needs.
