„Knowing the Vatican Library – a History Open to the Future“ is the title of an exhibition of the famous Vatican library which opens Nov. 11 and lasts until the end of January. Presented today at the Holy See Press Office, the exhibition marks the reopening of the Vatican Library after three years of extraordinary renovations. One of the exhibition’s aims is to introduce the rich heritage of the Vatican Library which was founded in 1451. But it is also primarily an opportunity to underline, through the use of technology, the cultural, religious and human aspects of the institution.
