Militärakademie (TherMilAk) das Altsystem BIBOS:IV durch die moderne sowie weltweit bewährte Bibliothekssoftware SunRise der Firma OCLC Germany abgelöst. Gleichzeitig wurde das Heeresgeschichtliche Museum (HGM) als Mandant an das neue, elektronische System angeschlossen. Zahlreiche Verwaltungsvereinfachungen in der Prozesslandschaft der Medienversorgung, zeitgemäße Abläufe und Möglichkeiten für die Bibliotheksbenutzer sowie eine erhebliche monetäre Einsparung für das ohnehin knappe Budget konnten dadurch erreicht werden.Schlagwörter: Österreichische Militärbibliothek, Bibliothekssystem, Beschaffung
Abstract: Following the end of the project BIBIS (library information system) by the Joint Command Support in 2009, the library system BIBOS:IV was replaced by the modern and worldwide known library software SunRise of OCLC Germany at the Austrian Military Library and at the Theresian Military Academy. At the same time the Museum of Military History was integrated into the new electronic system. The implementation of the new system led to simplified administration in processing media, modern processes and possibilities for library users as well as considerable cost savings.
