“Internet Archive: Forecast Study of Perceptions & Expectations of Potential Users“
Since 2006, the BnF (National Library of France) has been responsible for the legal deposit of internet resources. Automatic harvesting is performed 24 hours a day by the digital legal deposit service. Resources collected are available on a trial basis at the Research Library.
During this experimental phase, it was important to know the expectations and needs of potential users whose number may grow in the future. To this end, interviews with researchers, professionals and users of the Research Library were performed by the Direction of Strategic Planning and Research. They allow a better grasp of how these users imagine the Internet archive.
